A shot of yours truly by some big
hole in the ground in Arizona (more commonly known as the Grand Canyon).
The pedants amongst you will quite rightly be pointing out that the Grand Canyon is
incorrectly named as canyons are carved by water whereas the Grand Canyon was carved by the wind.
The Colorado river only began to flow through the cutting many years later.
The local native american name is more accurate : "Kaibab" which means "Hill without a top."
More conspicuous in the picture than the canyon itself is my dubious short 1980's haircut....
